2010
Citizens Award of the Foundation of the Frankfurter Sparkasse
"Rescue, Help, Gift of Chances" – this was the motto of the year. I received a certificate as a reward and appreciation for my voluntary work.
2009
Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany
Germany says "thank you" – to me!
There’s a nice story connected with it: At first, I could not believe what was written in the letter of invitation to the award event in Berlin. It had been sent to me by the Federal Ministry of Work and Social Affairs, announcing to "honour social commitment to work, education, unemployed and socially disadvantaged people as well as people with disabilities". Therefore, I called my son, reading the letter to him. And then I asked him what he had understood. He answered, "Mama, you will receive the Order of Merit of Germany! The federal minister Olaf Scholz will present you with it to recognize your merits in education and job integration of migrant women!"
2008
No. 15 "Best Employers in Health Service"
Again, my business "AHP – Ambulanter Häuslicher Pflegedienst Nadia Qani" (domestic nursing service) is among the best, ranking 15th in 25. In Berlin, we received the award of the German-wide competition "Best Employer in Health Service 2008". The prize was awarded by the Initiative New Quality of Work (INQA), a consortium of federal and state governments and social partners.
2007
Best!agers "Enterprises of Vision Frankfurt am Main"
My business "AHP – Ambulanter Häuslicher Pflegedienst Nadia Qani" (domestic nursing service) was one of the 25 prize winners. I received the prize for my trend-setting staffing policy which actively supports the Frankfurt employment pact "jobs for best!agers". The pact was looking for businesses or organisations that act in an exemplary way in employing people 50 years or older.
2005
Frankfurt Citizen of the Year
I love Frankfurt! I love to live and work in my city on the Main, and one of the reasons is its being so international. Therefore I was very glad to be awarded with the prize of the Frankfurt organisation "Hand in Hand" – by mayor Petra Roth, in the Bolongaro Palace in Frankfurt Höchst. The reasons: "integrating migrants as well as disadvantaged people such as single mothers and people with disabilities; creating training positions and places of employment; promoting advanced occupational trainings of the employees and enabling them to attend all kinds of courses".
2004
1st prize "Together in Hessen"
This competition, offered by the Hessen Ministry of Economics, Traffic and State Development, awards businesses for successful integration of international employees.
I received the prize because I convincingly joined equality of women and personnel development in a service business and also because I developed a new market segment.
2002
10 best women entrepreneurs in Hessen
With my business "AHP – Ambulanter Häuslicher Pflegedienst Nadia Qani" (domestic nursing service) I was one of the ten best women entrepreneurs in Hessen and was prized for sustainable success and exemplary commitment in my business.
